The brass band Bürgermusik Luzern (BML) is a young, dynamic music association that is deeply rooted in the city and region of Lucerne. With our top-class as well as our junior formation BML Talents, we help shape an important part of the wide-ranging cultural life of Central Switzerland.

Our approximately 70 active members are between 13 and 35 years old and belong to the national top at their respective performance level. We regularly and successfully take part in national and international competitions with both formations.

We actively promote youth both locally and regionally by organizing annual solo and ensemble competitions, holding camp weeks and organizing regular workshops for young musicians.

The brass band Bürgermusik Luzern has recorded numerous CDs for Obrasso Verlag. The sound carriers on which the brass band recorded film music are very successful.
